Telford Town Christmas Market

Get ready to spread some festive cheer at the annual Telford Christmas Market!

We are currently seeking stallholders to join us and showcase their unique products and services.

Telford’s Christmas Market is a popular destination for shoppers looking for one of a kind gifts and decorations.

With a variety of stalls, entertainment and delicious food, it's the perfect place to get into the festive spirit and support local businesses.

Whether you're a seasoned trader or just starting your business, we welcome all types of stalls to join us.

We will be situated in Southwater which is adjacent to Telford Shopping Centre. Southwater is a relatively new and purpose-built leisure area in Telford.

The Market will take place up and down Southwater Way, from the busy entrance at Telford Town Shopping Centre to outside the Town Centre’s Library and Council office SW1 - There will be a small fairground and a Giant Tipi Bar which will naturally increase footfall and dwell time in the whole area throughout the duration of the event.

Shrewsbury Flaxmill Maltings

Located just outside Shrewsbury town centre, the historically significant Flaxmill Maltings site stands as a testament to a time when Shropshire was at the forefront of engineering innovation.

The site is home to eight remarkable buildings, each with its own unique history. Among them is the 1797 Main Mill, often referred to as the "grandparent of skyscrapers," as it is recognised as the world's first iron-framed building - a revolutionary development in architectural design that laid the foundation for modern skyscrapers.

Originally constructed as a flax mill during the Industrial Revolution, the site played a vital role in the region’s industrial heritage, particularly in textile production. In the early 20th century, the mill was converted into a maltings, contributing to the local brewing industry. Throughout its varied history, the Flaxmill Maltings has witnessed numerous transformations, from its industrial heyday to its decline and eventual restoration.

Today, the site is celebrated as a symbol of engineering prowess and stands as an important reminder of Shropshire’s pivotal role in Britain’s industrial past.

We’re thrilled to host a variety of events that celebrate the rich heritage of this historic site.
